GREASE RELEASE

Grease is the #1 Cause of Sewer Stoppages

Grease buildup has always been a problem in sewers. Sewer agencies have tried using enzymes to eat the grease. Some have tried to blame the sources of the grease problems, but no one has come up with a successful way to reduce grease. UNTIL NOW…..

BENEFITS:

• Prevents and reduces stoppages and back ups in mains and laterals.
• Reduces maintenance time and expense.
• Helps flow control problems.
• Reduces odors.
• Reduces stagnation caused by grease.
• Leaves a light surfactant coating to repel future grease build up.
GREASE RELEASE is a unique blend of surfactants that penetrates and softens grease. GREASE RELEASE emulsifies grease so that it can’t re-adhere to pipe surfaces eliminating future problems.

Simply mix GREASE RELEASE with water in your jet-cleaning machine and begin cleaning sewers more efficiently. When GREASE RELEASE is applied frequently a soapy residue will form on the wall of the pipe preventing grease from adhering.
GENERAL INFORMATION

Grease Release is a general-use degreasing agent that effectively reduces grease build-up in sewer pipes and helps keep sewers to free flowing conditions. Penetrates and breaks down grease into small particles that will not resolidify. Grease Release will enhance preventative maintenance programs by coating the pipe with a grease repelling barrier to minimize build up. It contains mild surfactants, that are biodegradable, non-caustic, and non-corrosive. Grease Release does not contain phosphates.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN JETTER TRUCKS
Sewer Maintenance Treatment Recommendations:

1. Load tank with the desired volume of water
2. Add one litre of Grease Release for every 100 litres of water and mix.
3. Quickly jet up the line, against the flow at full pressure.
4. Shut off jet system, wait 5 minutes.
5. Retrieve hose at 1m/3 secs at full pressure.
No extra equipment required!

Grease Release is designed to work as an additive to the water in sewer jet cleaning equipment. The unique feature of this product is its ability to soften hard grease upon contact. Grease Release then works to break down grease in to small particles that will not resolidify further down the line.

Grease Release is environmentally biodegradable, non-caustic and non-corrosive. A pipe treated with Grease Release retains a certain amount of active ingredient on the interior of the line. The coating serves to discourage further grease buildup.

This product contains no hydrocarbons, as do most grease removers. Hydrocarbons are outlawed in most cities’ sewer systems.

The use of a small amount of Grease Release in your jetter truck tank will aid your sewer maintenance program.
